Ian ‘Dumb’ Boy Jackson to defend feature 30-lap clash
Ian ‘Dumb Boy’ Jackson will once again be out to prove that having a disability does not in no way hinder the differently able athletes from competing on even keel with the others.
Jackson, the defending champion of the feature 30-lap race, will be going all out to retain the top spot when the Carlton Wheelers Cycle Club brings off their 7th annual Track Meet on Sunday at the Everest Cricket Ground, Camp Road and Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown.
Jackson though, will have to evade the challenge of a number of his rivals including the likes of Alonzo Greaves, Geron Williams, Christopher Holder, Robin Persaud and Lear Nunes, among others.
The day’s activities according to main organizer Hassan Mohamed, promises lots of competition, fun and excitement with 29 races listed.
