Warren Cameron won 12 games as opposed to seven by Anthony Niles and six by Kevin Allen’s to cart off the honours when the Ministry of Home Affairs staged the King Domino competition at the Police Sports Club Pavilion, Friday September 25 last.
Cameron forms a part of the Ministry’s driving pool while Niles works in the Accounts Department. Allen operates out of the General Registrar’s Office.
The eventual champion dethroned last year’s king, Khain Singh who was forced out of the tournament in the early stages.
Several corporate entities sponsored the tournament and included Joshi Construction and Transportation Ltd, Banks DIH Ltd, and Guinness Bar of Joseph Pollydore Street, Lodge. The next tournament is the Champion of Champions, scheduled for Friday October 2 at the same venue.
Winners of the King Dominos tournament would receive their prizes at the conclusion of the Champion of Champions competitions.
