South Carolina Ladies’ All-Star Coach, Larry Davis maximised half of Sunday in Linden with coaches from the various clubs affiliated to the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) when he went through various excises with them.
Davis and the South Carolina (SC) Ladies travelled to the Mining Town to conduct the clinic for the coaches and select women players. They had done a similar session on Friday in the Capital City of Georgetown with junior males benefitting.
The clinic in Linden was well-attended as Davis went through both practical and theoretical applications at the Mackenzie Sports Club court. It also provided an opportunity for the visiting SC women to individually work with female players.
Davis had stated before that the goodwill tour will also be used to pass on the requisite knowledge to the local players. He said that the time is limited to really impact players and as a result, he was interested in training the coaches.
