Geddes Grant weighs in with key support
From all indications the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Senior championships at the National Cultural Centre from 7:00pm tonight promises to be a sizzling affair and fans attending are promised a treat.
Geddes Grant yesterday presented vital support to the GABBFF which covers advertising and also provided hampers of their new Seven seas ‘Joint care’ product for the winners tonight. Guyanese bodybuilder, currently campaigning in Canada, Eustace ‘Robocop’ Abraham collected the sponsorship package from Geddes Grant Brand manager Suresh Maikoo on behalf of the federation.
Abraham, who is preparing for a major event in Canada in about six weeks time, arrived in the country yesterday and is the guest of honour at these championships. He is expected to grace the stage to add to the excitement and has promised a sizzling routine that fans attending will remember.
Some 18 local bodybuilding stars will battle for honours with Alisha Fortune gunning to successfully defend her female crown. Male champ, Mark Perry, has opted out this year leaving the door open for several others to take the crown.
Clint Duke, a Lindener like Perry, is gunning to snatch the title and also ensure the Linden musclemen maintain a strangle hold on the prestigious overall title.
At $1,500 to enter the show, fans are assured of their money’s worth with the young crop of musclemen and women set to turn in an absorbing performance with Abraham’s guest routine putting ‘icing on the cake’.
