Miss Guyana Talented Teen shifted to Duke Lodge

The 2009 Miss Guyana Talented Teen Pageant is now billed for Saturday 3rd October on the lawns of the Roraima Duke Lodge, Kingston.

Organiser Miss Pamela Dillon said the committee has decided to add a new flavour to the pageant which has produced leading beauty ambassadors including the current Miss Guyana Universe Janelle Cox.

The stage will be constructed over the pool of the hotel and the delegates who have been drawn from across Guyana will compete in swimsuit, casual, talent and evening gown segments before the finalists are named. The intelligence competition was completed three weeks ago.

And when the new queen is crowned, she will begin her reign at the insomnia party being hosted just after the pageant at the same venue.

A number of local artistes will perform at the pageant and the girls will be serenaded by a special surprise guest.
