Dear Editor,
Unfortunately, in his letter, Mr. Bisram, has not answered any of the basic questions with regards to his polling strategies, protocols, and organisation. In addition, no attempt was even made to shed any light on the issues involved.
Instead, Mr. Bisram used the argument that another poll found “similar” results as a way to legitimize his own “polls”. The question is not about the UWI poll or any other poll, the question is about the openness and transparency of Mr. Bisram’s polling methodology.
The Guyanese public is bewildered, since direct answers to the simple questions with regards to acquisition of data, protocols, method of analysis, personnel, and organisation remain unanswered. (Is Mr. Bisram “polls” technically from a one man (Mr. Bisram) “polling organisation”?) We fail to see why such straightforward questions are evoking extensive evasive tactics and gimmicks of all sorts.
We hope that in his next letter, Mr. Bisram will deliver the answers to all the questions asked.
