The business enterprises are either getting jealous or are simply demonstrating a better understanding of their corporate duties. Whichever it is, Holland’s Enterprise and S&S Promotions are benefiting immensely from this upsurge.
Yesterday morning the two promoters, Carwyn Holland and Stanford Solomon visited Regal Stationery and Computer Centre (RS&CC), 13 Seaforth Street Campbellville and received another sponsorship package from its proprietors to offset the huge expenses towards the impending ‘Caribbean Fury’ Boxing card next Saturday September 26. The firm handed over a check to the value of one hundred and twenty thousand dollars ($120,000).
An employee of the firm spoke on behalf of managing director Anil Hardyal, who was unavoidably absent from the ceremony. He said that his firm was delighted to have contributed to the success of the card. The firm’s representative also said that they were happy to contribute to the promotion since all Guyana would benefit from the venture. Further, the representative stated that RS&CC is willing to support all disciplines because of the importance of sports to society.
Co-promoter Stanford Solomon, expressed gratitude to Hardyal for his chivalry even as he assured the proprietor that the donation would assist greatly towards the staging of the card.
Mr. Solomon also took the opportunity to thank the other corporate sponsors that have contributed towards the event. Meanwhile, the press was told that the RS&CC would soon be shifting locations to the North half of Seaforth Street, at lot 69. This would be effective from October 5 next.
