U-15 League reaches Q/Final stage

The Mike’s Pharmacy 15 overs country-wide round-hand softball cricket competition organised by Guyana Softball League (GSL) has reached the National Quarter-finals stage in the Under-15 Category for the KIDICARE trophy.
Preliminary round games in the West Coast Demerara, Linden, East Coast and Berbice zones have been completed and are now awaiting the winner of Essequibo zone to start the National Quarter-finals
Meanwhile, the Open category for the Mike’s Pharmacy trophy continued with several matches in the various zones.

Street boys XI defeated Shivala Academy by a massive 63 runs:
Street boys XI batted first and scored 129 all out in 14.4 overs (Mahendra Seemangal 26; Ricky Khan 3-22 from 3 overs) In reply Shivala Academy made 66 all out in 7.5 overs (Hardat Singh 19; Ankar Latchman 5-15 from 3 overs)

Street Boys XI (In their second match) defeated Lall XI by 8 wkts:
Lall XI batted first and made 55 all out in 9.4 overs (Mahendra Seemangal 4-20 from 3 overs) In reply Street Boys XI made 56-2 in 5.3 overs (Rakesh Gangaram 30; Vicky Beharry 1-5 from 3 overs)

Shivala Academy XI (in their second match) defeated Lall XI (Also in their second match) by 8 wkts:
Lall XI batted first and scored 141-8 in 15 overs (Vicky Beharry 63; Reaz Khan 2-30 from 3 overs) In reply Shivala Academy XI  made 142 – 2   in 6 overs (Azad Mohamed 63 not out; Hardat Singh 22 not out)

Success XI defeated Dare Devils by 40 runs:
Success XI  batted first and made 140 all out  in 15 overs (Chris Ramnarine 38; Chris Deonarine 2-8 from 3 overs) Dare Devils  was limited to 100 all out 14.2 overs (Dindial Rambharose 2-8 from 3 overs).

Success XI (In their second match) made light work of Ogle Under-19 XI by 9 WKTS:
Ogle under-19 XI made 66 all out 12.5 overs (Chris Ramnarine 3-20 from 3 overs). Success XI replied with 67-1 in 3.5 overs Raj Premraj 37 not out).

Annandale West XI defeated Dare Devils (in their second match) by 22 runs:
Annandale West XI  batted first and made 177 – 9 in 15 overs (Davendra Samaroo 69; Chris Deonarine 2-25 from 3 overs) Dare Devils  was limited to 155 all out 14.2 overs (Davendra Gainda 30; Mikey Ali 30; Mikey Hookram 3-10 from 3 overs).

United Bros XI defeated Reliance XI by 3 wkts and booked their way into the Quarter – finals:
Reliance XI made 131-9 in 15 overs (Narendra Madholall 32; Shivanandan Madholall 25; Suresh Ragubansie 3-15 from 3 overs; Anil Durga 2 -20 from 3 overs).
Reliance replied with 134-7in 10 overs (Chandy Jairam 38; Anil Durga 21 not out).
