Operations Manager (Medicare Pharmacy), Christopher Lowe hands over the winners’ trophy to organizing secretary, Royston Ramsarran (left) at the Medicare Pharmacy yesterday.
Mike’s Pharmacy and the International Pharmaceutical Agency would battle it out for supremacy when they face each other in a 20 overs softball cricket match in the Guyana Softball and Windball Cricket Association organized 3-team, competition at the GS&WCA Ground, Carifesta Avenue on Sunday September 20.
Consequently, the winner of that match would face Medicare Pharmacy to determine the overall winner.
According to the organizing secretary, Royston Ramsarran, spectators would be thoroughly entertained since all three teams are training intensely with each promising to walk off with the spoils.
The winners receive a trophy and two cartoons of beer while second place finishers go home with one cartoon of beer. The man of the match wins one trophy. The tournament is sponsored by Medicare Pharmacy of Hinck Street, Georgetown.
The first match bowls off at 10:00hrs while the second game is scheduled to get underway at 12:00hrs.
