Joel Sooknarine, the taxi driver who went missing last Friday, has been found alive and well.
Sooknarine’s reputed wife, Reshma Singh, told Kaieteur News that he was located shortly after 22:00 hrs on Monday night.
Sooknarine, 30, of Best Foreshore, Vreed-en-Hoop, West Coast Demerara, had failed to return home after contacting his reputed wife by phone to tell her that he was going to the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri.
His car, a white AT192, PGG 4664, was also missing but was located on Monday afternoon in Campbellville.
Ms. Singh had become concerned for his safety after Sooknarine failed to answer his two mobile phones.
