The man who the police believed supplied information to the three Coast Guard ranks who robbed and killed 23-year-old Dweive Kant Ramdass has been released on station bail. According to police sources, the man was released last evening after the stipulated 72-hour detention period had expired.
The source further told this newspaper that the suspect is mandated to report to the police station daily.
The man who is a speed boat captain was arrested on Saturday at the Parika Stelling, after the police had received information that he was closely associated to the suspected mastermind of Thursday’s heist.
