Picketing of AFC leaders office

Dear Editor,
We the members and Executive of the AFC Caribbean wish to register our public denouncement of the staging of picketing exercise in front of the offices of Party leaders Messrs Raphael Trotman, Khemraj Ramjattan, and the dishonest attempt to besmirch the character of these messengers of truth, and avatars of the clarion call for long overdue change in the way political business is done in Guyana
If there is any truth in the involvement of the functionaries of the ruling Party who are beneficiaries of the taxpayers’ moneys, this is appalling and a blatant misuse and reckless disregard by the State’s paid stewards. Instead we remind that these moneys required not to mount such an activity, should rightly however be used for poverty alleviation and development projects.
We strongly condemn this senseless and clueless picketing of our leaders and call on Guyanese to prepare to do the right thing at our next Elections, vote for change, accountability and good governance.
