GCC Men’s and Ladies teams continue their outstanding performances at this year’s 24th edition of the Banks International Hockey Festival in Barbados as they stayed unbeaten after their latest engagements yesterday.
In their opening fixture, GCC Men drubbed Debe of Trinidad and Tobago 8-0 and then drew 1-1 against defending champions All Stars of Barbados, before squeezing past Italian club Bolognia 2-1.
The Ladies won 3-2 against Bajans Fuh Real then edged UWI 1-0, before drawing 0-0 with Deacons.
The competition is set to continue today with more matches at different venues.
