Extra-judicial killings did not just happen

Undoubtedly, the People’s Progressive Party will go down in the annals of history as the Government in Guyana which presided over the disappearance and extra-judicial killings of many of our youths.

This atrocity by this so called PPP Democratic Government against its own people did not just happen.

It was President Franklyn D. Rooseveldt who said: “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.”

Edmond Paris in The Vatican Against Europe noted:

“In Germany, the Papal Nuncio in Berlin, MGR. Pacelli and Franz Von Papen, privy Chamberlain to the Pope advocated a union with Rome and concentrated on the overthrow of the Weimar Republic – The German Catholics were hostile to Nazism but were informed that the Pope himself was ‘favourably disposed towards Hitler? Consequently, the Catholic Zentrum, axis of all Parliamentary majorities, voted full rights to Hitler on January 1933.

The operation was promptly followed, as in Italy by the concluding of a Concordat which was most advantageous to the Roman Church. The German Episcopate swore allegiance to the Fuhrer and Catholic Youth Organisations combined with those of the Nazis.

It was the Catholics who gave Hitler the majority he needed to legally form a Government in 1933. Further, the Vatican ordered Catholic members of the Reichstag Parliament to support Legislation, giving Hitler the Power to rule by decree. It was this measure that gave Hitler the dictatorial power he needed to destroy the German Government. In Guyana, the PPP regime depended on a combination of the first past the post system and the proportional representation system in 2001.

Soon after the Vatican-Hitler bargain, Catholic Franz Von Papen, the second in command to Hitler, put the essence of the Hitler-Vatican alliance very succinctly in these words: “The Third Reich”, he said, ‘is the first power which not only recognises, but puts into practice, the high principles of the papacy.”

Leo H. Lehman, author of Behind the Dictators noted:-’ Hitler himself admits that he was helped by the methods of the Jesuit Counter Reformation to carry on the Ideological war….. [WE] have witnessed Catholicism’s open support of every step taken by Nazi Facism to impose authoritarian regimes upon all peoples’.

While the PPP Government has made in-roads into Hinduism and to some extent the Christian community for support, they (the PPP) must be warned that the Christian community is aware of that Party’s malicious plan and it will not work in Guyana.

The evidence which comes out of the US Court in the case against Roger Khan is that he gave support to the PPP/C Government and that he and his drug related friends helped to combat crime in Buxton and elsewhere in Guyana.

The constitution of the United States of America stands firm. The Sixth Amendment sets forth the most important rights of a defendant in a criminal trial. These include the right to a ‘speedy and public trial’.

Roger Khan a confessed Guyanese drug trafficker did get a speedy trial and will know his fate on the 6th November, 2009, after he pleads guilty to charges against him that includes ‘drug trafficking and witness tampering’.

Khan has entered a ‘plea bargain’ in which case the prosecuting attorney might agree to dismiss certain charges, substitute a less serious charge or recommend a shorter sentence. While the state saves time and money it must be noted that ‘plea bargaining’ weakens the nation’s system of justice. What ‘plea bargaining’ does, is that the defendant’s guilt is assumed instead of proven, as it would in a trial.

As one renowned Attorney, Curran from Ireland once said in a speech in Court after he had devastated a witness — I conjure you, suffer him not to take an oath; the hand of a murderer should not pollute the purity of the Gospel; if he swears, let it be upon a knife, the proper symbol of his profession’.
