Bartica dumpsite a most horrifying site
Bartica, once the gateway to Guyana’s interior, is now taking on the look of the garbage bin of the interior. A recent visit to the community revealed the wanton disregard for cleanliness in an area which was once touted as one of the country’s most picturesque locations. One resident who was in the area two days ago en route to Agatash was horrified to see one of the foulest sites of garbage disposal.
This is occurring not too far from the main Bartica community at a place called Back Road and now Back Road dumpsite.
