Quacy Letlow, 21, and Delon Farley, 19, were both remanded to prison yesterday by Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
It was alleged that the two defendants on August 9, at Regent Street, while armed with a cutlass and a knife, robbed Kennard Simon of $13,000.
They were not required to plead since the charge was indictable. The two were unrepresented in court yesterday.
The prosecution asked that bail be refused and a date fixed for report and a date set for statements.
The prosecutor also asked that the Administration of Justice Act not be applied. That application was subsequently granted by the magistrate and the defendants were remanded.
They are expected to make another court appearance on August 24.
