Soca sensation Peter Ram to entertain
This evening a lucky Digicel customer from a field of 26 confirmed entrants will drive away with the first of two BMWs when the first D’Bimmer Flex Summer promotion draw is conducted at the Mackenzie Bus Park in Linden.
The others will take home Digicel prizes.
Although the mechanics for the draw are a closely guarded secret until moments before the actual draw, Digicel is promising that the draw will be fair, and filled with excitement for the contestants as well as patrons to the event.
While the draw for the first of two BMW’s will take centre stage, the entire night will be an entertainment melting pot of hot performances with Barbados Soca sensation, Peter Ram, flanked by local artistes; Malo, Typheon, Jory and Alabama to set Linden ablaze with the summer heat.
Donovan White, Digicel Guyana Head of Marketing, said, “One of the main objectives in the D’Bimmerflex Promotion is to give everyone an equal opportunity to win the cars.” He further explained that the draw would be conducted in a manner that the entrants will decide their own faith.
“We could have let our automatic selection programme select a winner; but where’s the fun in that? The way we have structured the draw, the crowd will also be part of the thrill, so it is important that people come out and support.”
White said, too, that the lucky entrants have all collected the letters B-I-M-M-E-R using $500, $1000 and $2000 Bimmer Flex Cards, proving all the letters are in the market and dispelling the rumor that there is a missing letter.
He advised perspective competitors that they should keep asking for the Bimmerflex cards when they top up as they too could be in the final draw scheduled for September.”
Apart from the opportunity to win the BMW, these customers also won themselves $100,000 cash. Other Bimmer Flex promotion prizes also include: one BlackBerry Pearl Flip phone giveaway each week and $5000 credit daily shared among five lucky customers.
