A man from South Sophia was yesterday rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit after he was involved in a freak accident at his workplace.
According to sources from the hospital, 19-year-old Evandon Henry arrived at the hospital some time after 11:00 hours with severe injuries to his left hand.
The incident reportedly occurred at the Ansa McAl’s Beterverwagting office.
Reports are that the man was directing the movements of a container when it somehow crushed his wrist.
Up to press time he was still being treated.
And an 11-year-old La Penitence lad was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was involved in an accident.
Reports are that Rondel Joseph was stuck by a motorcyclist some time early yesterday morning at Broad and Smyth Streets. Up to press time he too was being treated at the Accident and Emergency Unit.
