Dear Editor,
On behalf of the residents of No 30 Village/ Brittania Village, West Coast, Berbice, I express sincerest gratitude to the powers that be for “fixing” the street lights that have been out of service for more than a year.
We are grateful for their intervention.
I, however, wish to restate my position, that the present lights are sufficient to electrify the entire West Coast, Berbice if they are placed farther apart. I am certain that reasonable visibility will still be possible especially for road traffic.
