The 10/10 exhibition cricket match between Gizmos and Gadgets GT Panthers and Demerara Bank Berbice Women Warriors played on July 5 at the Albion Sports Complex Ground, Berbice and organised by DJ Stress is now history.
Gizmos and Gadgets GT Panthers were victorious and had won the $50,000 prize put up for the winners.
Tuesday afternoon, at a simple ceremony at the Police Sports Club, Eve Leary, Bonar handed over the winning check to coach of the women’s team, Ava Barker. Bonar explained that the prize money was donated by Cellink.
Once again he wishes to express deep gratitude to the sponsors along with those that made the occasion a success.
