Dear Editor,
In the Thursday’s (23-07-09) Kaieteur News, the story that caught me was, “Ministry’s fire suspect…BRUTALIZED – Troy Small had to be lifted out of the Alberttown Police Station yesterday (Wednesday).”
I strongly thought that you are innocent until proven otherwise. Am I wrong? Is this the way we get someone to plead guilty?
I guess the police should answer these questions since the man (small) was taken to them in a brutalized state and they did not investigate? What are the jobs of the Guyana Police Force?
I might not know all, but I am sure one is to Serve and Protect the people of Guyana. Or are they a part of this act?
