The West Indies selectors have named their squad for the 1st and 2nd Digicel One-Day Internationals against Bangladesh at Windsor Park, Dominica fixed for Sunday, July 26 and Tuesday, July 28.
Floyd Reifer will remain at the helm of the side with Darren Sammy as his deputy. The full squad is: Floyd Reifer (Captain), Darren Sammy (Vice Captain), David Bernard, Travis Dowlin, Andre Fletcher, Rawl Lewis, Nikita Miller, Nelon Pascal, Kieran Powell, Dale Richards, Kemar Roach, Devon Smith, Devon Thomas and Gavin Tonge.
Meanwhile, the WICB earlier announced a 30-member provisional squad to prepare for the International Cricket Council’s Champions Trophy to be played in South Africa from September 22 to October 5.
The West Indies will be in Group A along with Pakistan, India and Australia. Guyanese Travis Dowlin, Royston Crandon, Christopher Barnwell and Leon Johnson have received call-ups and will hope to impress and make the final squad.
This is a big opportunity for several new faces to make an impression to secure spots on the senior squad.
