The parents of 14-year-old Sunita Latcham are desperately seeking the assistance of the public to have the runaway teen return home.
Latchman, while her mother Kavita was preparing for an outing on Monday last, reportedly packed a bag with some clothing and absconded.
According to the girl’s mother, her daughter who hails from Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo, had developed a relationship with a young man in the area, who has since moved to Berbice.
She is of the belief that her daughter fled with the young man, but efforts to locate the duo have proved futile thus far.
The matter was reported to the police. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Sunita Latchman is asked to contact telephone numbers 621-1922, 689-2975, 675-6671, 277-0184 or the nearest Police Station.
