Dear Editor,
SN feature of Sara Bharrat’s report interview with the current beauty ambassador in it’s issue of 7-11-09 highlights the fact that the individual definitely needs to inject some last minute adjustments. In doing so, she needs to get help from an educator in communications.
In my opinion, while in the Bahamas and she chooses to repeat the statement in a similar fashion that she is there to win the coveted crown for herself, it will be interpreted that she is a one person representative rather than been there for Guyana and it’s flag.
No one will take her seriously and it could also cause her to be out of the competition before it starts.
This commentary is not meant to discredit the person in question, but she has to be open to constructive criticism and when adjustments are made, the end product will be a more effective and well spoken ambassador.
If Guyana’s Eco Tourism is the marketing product that will be the platform, educate yourself on Iwokrama, as an additional marketing product, which I believe will be an additional boost for your package. Good luck.
T. Pemberton
