There is a lot of discontent around and people are going after others with the aim of causing them to spend money when they would normally not have the need to. The source of discontent would be money owed for supplies credited, sold and the money not transferred.
The irony is that the victim would refrain from involving the police because of the questions that would have to be answered.
There would also be retaliation because people hate to feel threatened, but in this case, the retaliation would bring further hardship.

In the next few days there would be numerous missing person reports as young people for a variety of reasons seek to gravitate toward better, often trying to evade parental control.
In one case the young person would end up in another country having been taken there by the source of attraction.
The police are going to make an arrest but will fail to prosecute because of reluctance on the part of the parents who pressed the panic button in the first instance.

Another senseless road accident would cause the population to wonder whether there is enough testing of drivers, especially first-time drivers. This driver would attempt to overtake when the wise thing would have been to wait until the coast was clear.
Innocent people are going to be injured and angry citizens are going to want to take the law into their own hands because the drivers always seem to avoid injury.
