Mikes Pharmacy over-40 cricket
Uitvlugt Masters will throw down the gauntlet to Floodlights XI in the Wellman Masters Cup over-40 softball cricket tournament, sponsored by Mikes Pharmacy at the National Park Tarmac under floodlights tonight.
The West Demerara side will be boosted by former national player Rabindranauth Seeram, who will be making his debut against the Floodlights XI. The team also features some well known personalities.
The 25 overs softball match will start at 18:30hrs.
The Uitvlugt team will come from: Nigel Veira (captain), Rabindranauth Seeram, Deryck Chunoo, Feroz Barakat, Mohammed Alli, Abdul Willey, Imtiaz Alli, Victor Sooklall, Joseph Ramsammy, Mohammed Willey, Ram Ramnarine, Kumar Takurdin, Frank Ramkerat, Sukhdeo Khan, Muniram Persaud and Mohamed Nizam.
Floodlights XI: Ricky Deonarain (captain), Kemal Seebaran, Hardat Singh, Ravindra Singh, Ramesh Sunich, Amernauth Bodhoo, Imtiaz Mohammed, Ricky Persaud, Mike Singh, Ramchand Ragbeer, Rahaman Khan, Derick Ramoutar and Dharam Persaud.
