Police have detained three men following the discovery of a .38 revolver and two stun guns during a raid at Plaisance, East Coast Demerara and Campbellville at around 17:45 hrs on Thursday.
According to a release, a mobile police patrol stopped and searched a Toyota Tundra motor pick-up vehicle at Graham Street, Plaisance, where they found an unlicensed .38 revolver with six matching rounds, a stun gun and a ‘Rambo’ knife.
A further search was conducted at the home of the owner and driver of the vehicle at Middleton Street, Campbellville, where another stun gun was found.
The men are expected to appear in court soon.
