MIBICURI, BLACK BUSH POLDER- The Central Committee members of the People’s Progressive Party distributed educational and hygiene kits to some students of the Mibicuri Primary School at Black Bush Polder.
The presentation was done during a visit to the Black Bush Polder area last week.
Parents, teachers and students, who turned out at the simple ceremony, expressed gratitude to the group for the gesture they described as timely and meaningful.
The items were made possible through a member of the Central Committee, Faizal Jaffarally, who along with another member, Zulfikar Mustapha made the presentation.
Mr. Jaffarally explained that the area was selected to stress the importance of an education and a healthily lifestyle. A number of other areas are also to receive the same items.
