As the time draws closer for his bantamweight championship bout with Dexter Marques, Leon ‘Hurry Up’ Moore stepped up his training with a six-round sparring session against several boxers at the Andrew ‘Sixhead’ Lewis Boxing Gym (ALBG), Sunday morning.
In the above photo Moore (left) is about to launch an attack on Rudy Fraser, who wisely covers up.
Moore also sparred with Kwesi Jones who fights Edmond DeClou over four rounds. The fighters continue their preparations starting at 16:00hrs weekdays, at different gyms. Allen and Marques are operating out of the Forgotten Youth Foundation, while Gilkes, Jones and Moore are at the ALBG.
The bout would get underway at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Saturday, starting at 20:00hrs sharp.
