Dear Editor,
I am penning this letter with the intent of informing you of the noise nuisance residents of D’Edward Village, West Bank, Berbice are forced to live with everyday.
It is with great frustration that fellow residents asked me to be their voice in trying to stop this grave abuse.
Located in the centre of the village is a popular night club, which for some reason or the other the owner fails to realise that people also share the neighbourhood persisting with loud music everyday, robbing villagers of their rest.
Several calls were made to the police station at Blairmont to help rectify the problem but to no avail. As a matter of fact police are often seen enjoying the entertainment at that club.
To compound matters when it is a holiday the owner would hire a music set and place it outside of the disco and make an already ugly situation for residents worse.
