In demonstrating its corporate duty to the society, Gafson’s Industries Limited on Thursday, donated nine 450-gallon water tanks along with fittings to the University of Guyana.

According to a release issued by the entity, the donation is intended to alleviate the water situation which is being experienced at the university’s Turkeyen campus.
Deputy Vice Chancellor, Tota Mangar, received the donation on behalf of the university from the Gafson’s Group Store Manager, Mark Harris.
During the presentation, Harris said that the donation comes at a time when the company, like other local and international businesses, is experiencing financial challenges.
However, he noted that the company was not willing to neglect its corporate responsiveness and commitment to the University, even as revealed that Gafson’s is willing to continue its assistance to the institution.
