OUTSTANDING!!! Total Protection Systems Inc's Company Secretary, Anasha Ally (right, forefront) displays one of the uniforms with Janielle Welch and Saskia Phillips while other students also share the moment on Saints Basketball Court yesterday.
Saint Stanislaus College will be one of the schools with a new look in the national contest that gets underway next week, because of a benevolent donation of outstanding male and female uniforms to the school yesterday.
Dyna’s Embroidery and Total Protection Systems Inc. combined to sponsor the uniforms that will be worn during the National Sports Commission and Next Level Entertainment national schools’ basketball festival next week.
“When Lugard (Mohan) approached us it was hard to say no. We saw it as giving back to the place that gave us so many years of fun,” Total Protection’s General Manager, Shane Ally told Kaieteur Sport at a simple ceremony.
Ally said that they will continue to help the school in whatever way they can. Mohan had requested sponsorship from the company on behalf of the school. Saints is Ally’s alma mater and he pledged to continue his support.
Mohan, who leaves for an international referees’ course in Colorado next week, is part of the schools’ basketball coaching staff with Uzzi Yisreal, who is officially the secondary institution’s Physical Education teacher.
