National Cycling Coach Hassan Mohamed has organised the 9th annual P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Cycle programme and the competition peddles off from 09:00hrs on Saturday at the National Park.
Eleven races are carded for the day and Bish Panday, whose company has been sponsoring the event of the past eight years, will present the trophies to the respective winners.
Neil Reece captured the Juveniles title, while Alonzo Greaves won the Schoolboys and Novices race last year in a time of 1 hour, 26 minutes and 40.46 seconds.
The races scheduled are 12-14 years Boys three-lap, Veterans Under-50 5-lap, Veterans Over-50 5-lap, Juveniles 10-lap, Upright Cyclists 5-lap, BMX Boys Open 3-lap, BMX Boys 12-14 years 3-lap, BMX Boys 9-12 years 3-lap, BMX Boys 6-9 years 3-lap, BMX Girls 6-12 years 1-lap, School Boys and Novices 35-lap.
