Camptown recorded the only on field win on a day when rain was responsible for the abandonment of two matches in the Trix Under-17 league being contested in the capital city.
Camptown utilised home advantage to full effect in coming from behind to defeat BK International Western Tigers 2-1 at their Campbellville venue.
The second match of the double-header was abandoned after the first half with Riddim Squad leading Flamingo 2-0.
The first half was contested during the rain even as the field was accumulating water. As the game progressed it became difficult for the players to control the ball which was not moving more than half a yard on the surface. The referees at half time decided to call the game off and the teams accepted.
Over at the GFC ground, it was a similar situation to the extent that no play was possible in the GFC/Alpha United match up. Renaissance, were gifted full points after their opponents, Thomas United, failed to show up.
Western Tigers took the lead against Camptown in the 2nd half after a goalless first. However, Aubrey Cummings rocked the nets in the 45th minute of the 70 minute encounter. It took a while for the home team to hit back but they eventually did in the 64th minute compliments of a Jahal Greaves strike.
The winning goal came in the final minute of the game, Glenroy Griffith securing full points for Camptown with his winning effort.
Georgetown Football Association Honorary Secretary Marlan Cole was on hand at the Camptown ground and disclosed that the affected games will be rescheduled.
Meanwhile, all matches in the Courts Pee Wee Under-11 league which were scheduled for the Banks DIH ground Thirst Park were not played, also due to rain.
