Associated Industries Limited (AINLIM) has secured technical competency to maintain New Holland/Kobelco construction machinery. Three of its employees recently completed training in this regard.
Service Engineer Rex Mangroo, Mechanic James Henry and Electrician Shivnauth DeAbreu have been certified to provide maintenance to the brand of machinery following a two-week specialist training programme at the New Holland Learning Centre in Brazil recently.
New Holland is said to be a world leader in the production and sale of construction and agricultural machinery, including Kobelco excavators, loaders and dozers.
And since AINLIM’s workshop specialises in troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair services for all brands of machinery it markets locally, the need for the training of employees had became imperative.
The training focused on maintenance for Kobelco Acera Mark 8 Excavators (SK 170, SK 215 and SK 260) and New Holland W 170.B and W 190.B Wheel Loaders.
Chairman of Neal and Massy Guyana Group, Christian Maingot duly lauded the three local participants on completion of the training. And according to AINLIM’s Chief Executive Officer Lekhnaraine Shivraj, “Quality and customer satisfaction are at the heart of everything we do.”
As such he noted that AINLIM’s participation in the recent training would ensure that New Holland/Kobelco customers get maximum return on investment by reducing machine downtime and inconvenience through accurate assessments and prompt repairs.
Kobelco machinery is known for innovation, reliability and easy serviceability.
And according to information from AINLIM, Kobelco machines feature the latest state-of-the-art technological innovations, such as the Intelligent Total Control System (ITCS). This ITCS power unit control system reliably coordinates the machine’s advanced features for optimal economy and efficiency, as it precisely transmits instructions from the operator to the machine.
Kobelco machines are suited for drainage, irrigation works, agriculture and other similar applications.
In the past, Kobelco machines have appeared in many engineering and construction magazines. In 2008 the Kobelco SK210 LC Acera Mark 8 excavator, sold by AINLIM, was featured in the Better Roads Magazine as one of the top 50 rollouts in the American market in 2007. Better Road, on an annual basis sorts through more than 500 new product introductions to identify 50 that have impressive and great significance to highway and bridge professionals.
