Nandy Park and North Soesdyke will clash in the final of the Goodwood Racing Service 40-over second division cricket competition, organised by the East Bank Demerara Cricket Association (EBDCA).
North Soesdyke defeated Combined United by 117 runs at Diamond in their semi-final encounter last Sunday, while Nandy Park got the better of Eccles by one wicket in the other clash at the Providence Sports Club ground.
At Diamond, North Soesdyke made 246-7 and dismissed Combined United for 129, while Nandy Park struggled to 171-9 replying to Eccles’ 170-9 to book their spot in the June 7 final.
Twelve teams participated in the round robin competition.
