Man hospitalised after stabbing incident

A Norton Street, Wortmanville man is currently hospitalized with several stab wounds which he sustained from the hands of his reputed wife.
Reports are that 49-year-old James Richmond was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital some time around 10:30 hours yesterday.
This newspaper was told that the man was involved in a heated argument with his reputed wife in the Bourda Market area.
The man told hospital officials that during the argument the woman pulled out a knife and began cutting away at him.
He managed to escape from the irate woman and was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and subsequently admitted.
Up to press time yesterday it was still not clear if Richmond’s attacker was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
