The Masters arm of the Santos Football Club will on Tuesday, (Independence Day), host a 13-team Twenty20 knock-out football one-day tournament at the GFC ground. The game will be a total 40 minutes – 20 minutes duration in each half.
Battling for what is described as attractive prizes are Thomas United, Carib, Rasta Patriarchs, Western Tigers, West Berbice, Top Class, East Bank, East Coast, West Bank along with Santos, GFC and GT All Star, the latter three drawing byes to the quarter-final stage.
An exciting day of action is expected as the Masters take a break from the league format, to test their skills in the shorter version of the game.
