May 22, 2009 Letters
Dear Editor,
In his Kaieteur News feature of May 19, 2009 entitled, “Paper forms and forms of conspiracies inside the PNC”, Freddie Kissoon stated that, “This columnist knows that fraud occurred at the last congress that was designed to keep Team Alexander out.
“One strong piece of evidence is the Werk-en-Rust membership whose numbers strangely jumped up fantastically.”
After reading such a statement in the newspaper, I believe that it is imperative Robert Corbin remove Chris Jones the acting Chairman of the GYSM from dealing with the distribution of GYSM forms – especially since Mr. Jones was in charge of the membership forms in the Werk-en-Rust group.
One would also wonder why Corbin placed Chris Jones as the GYSM Chairman (ag) – perhaps that is his reward for the last Congress or to secure his support for the upcoming Congress. How can the Guyanese public including GYSM and PNCR members expect to win in 2011.
Corbin will destroy the PNCR if he continues in this manner.
If Dr. Richard Van West-Charles calls on Corbin to do the right thing to rebuild the PNCR, then the world and all Guyanese should blame Corbin for destroying the PNCR, by continuing with the “undemocratic methods” Freddie Kissoon mentioned in his article.
The members of the PNCR and the GYSM want to win in 2011.
