Competition in the first round of the Cellink Premier League will continue this evening at the Tucville ground with a double-header.
Defending champions and joint leaders Alpha ‘The Hammer’ United will be aiming to consolidate their position at the top when they take on pointless Georgetown Football Club in the evening’s opening encounter at 18:00hrs.
This evening’s feature will see joint leaders Guyana Defence Force challenge BK International Western Tigers in what is expected to be an exciting duel.
Alpha and GDF are locked on 9 a piece, followed by Sunburst Camptown and Fruta Conquerors on 6 each, Western Tigers and Pele tied on 3, with Flamingo and GFC yet to register a point.
