Dem boys frighten to talk because dem hear how dem can get victimise so much that dem actually believe. Dem even frighten to go near NCN because dem hear how dem have a man wukking deh who can do no wrong.
When this man was young he had a fuzzy hairstyle. He get big now and de hair almost gone but dem does still call he Fuzzy.
Kwame and this man tangle and hell nearly break loose. De chairman sit down and Kwame and de man had a shouting match over who more close to Bharrat. Kwame announce that he is Bharrat boy because Bharrat does call he fuh everything.
Fuzzy tell Kwame that he talking nonsense (he use another word that mean private parts of a woman).
Dr Prem and Martin sit quiet. Brassington try to get some order in de place and even threaten to throw he weight around. Fuzzy ain’t tek chance; he walk out. De Board decide to suspend Fuzzy.
Well dem boys seh that is suh dem know who powerful. De Chairman write a positive letter. Next day de letter wasn’t even worth de paper it write on because Bharrat call Roger (not Dora Irizarry boy) and tell he to ask dem who give dem de power to suspend Fuzzy.
Quiet suh, Fuzzy back on de job although he refuse to resume duty when de Board tell he to. He show dem that he powerful.
But is de laugh in de background that had dem boys laughing. One man ask who gun give Fuzzy de letter telling he to come back to wuk. One man identify Martin and another identify Michael. De two of dem was to run de NCN and split Fuzzy pay.
Michael even go to Courts and buy furniture because he throw out de set that he had. He was spending Fuzzy pay.
Martin tek over Fuzzy car. He barely full it up when he hear that he got to give back de car to Fuzzy and he got to clear out de office. He barely warm up de man chair.
But dem boys seh that de story ain’t done. Is hell to pay when Bharrat come back. He already want to know who is de boss of NCN—he or de Board?
Dem had another problem. All dem Police Commissioners come to Guyana fuh a conference and right away Bharrat try to recruit dem. He tell dem that he had a vacancy because he commissioner retire and none of de others got de ability fuh talk and sleep at de same time.
Dem commissioner ain’t tek de wuk because dem frighten Guyana criminals. And besides, Guyana got too many human rights people and when dem try to arrest anybody dem will have to contend wid de human rights people and that ain’t good fuh police wuk.
Imagine protesters nearly beat a policeman in Trinidad because he arrest a youth man. Dem boys seh that such a thing can’t happen in Guyana.
Nuff of dem tackle de youth and put de handcuff pun he. But de crowd descend pun dem and de youth man run away wid dem handcuff.
In Guyana, police would beat de protesters, and beat de boy then dem would charge he fuh stealing de handcuff. That is why dem frighten.
Wha dem ain’t know is that police does cut deals. De other day dem arrest a man fuh committing a crime and dem loose he. As soon as de man come out of jail he snatch a chain and a policeman chase after he. Dem bank a corner and de next thing dem know is de policeman coming back without de man. Wha dem didn’t know was that de man buss de chain in two and give de policeman half.
And dem boys notice that is nuff people trying to move cocaine through de airport. It look like people desperate because de more people get ketch is de more people trying. Dem boys seh that something wrang. Even a 61-year-old man tek a shot.
But most of dem people is women and dem boys seh that this is de case because dem have more hiding place.
Talk half. Lef half.
