Dear Editor,
When we look at the majestic colours of the rainbow, blended together in unison, thus creating that perfect composition of a genuine coalition, it is at these silent moments that our hearts should ponder upon the possibilities of accelerating the course of peace, love and harmony and national unity, in this beautiful country of ours.
Like the rainbow, where each colour is dependent on the others to complete this glorious spectre, similarly prosperity in Guyana cannot flourish with the exclusion of any of its ethnic component.
As such, it is imperative for all Guyanese to work assiduously in order to enhance this significant posture, for our very survival on the road to prosperity necessitates this complete bond of unity.
Therefore, we as Guyanese, before advancing our cause on the world stage, must first implant our thoughts and actions in creating the solid foundation of the rainbow coalition.
We cannot at this moment, where economic instability has eroded the financial bulwark of many nations, allow ourselves to be divided for light and transient reasons.
So let us come together in love and unity, let us strive by whatever means we can, by way of linking hearts and hands together in making this beloved country of ours a reality which such a way and fashion which is consonant and parallel to that of the rainbow coalition.
