The West Indies Cricket Board advised that batsman Dale Richards will return home from the ongoing tour of England.
Richards suffered a right shoulder injury on tour and will depart England today to continue his recovery in Barbados.
Richards played in the two warm-up matches against Leicestershire County Club at Leicester and Essex County Club at Chelmsford, but did not play in the 1st Test at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
No replacement will be named for the final Test at Durham from May 14-18. The selectors will meet soon to name a replacement for the three One-Day Internationals to be played on May 21 (Headingley), May 24 ( Bristol ), May 26 (Edgbaston).
