The Guyana Amateur Body Building Federation (GABBFF) will hold its annual Novices and Intermediates Championships on May 17 at the Theatre Guild, and two business entities have thrown their support behind the staging of the event.
The proceedings on Sunday May 17 get underway from 7:00pm, and tickets cost $1,000 each. Keen competition is expected from athletes across the country as they vie for the coveted Ms. Guyana and Mr. Guyana Novice titles.
Popular celebrated bodybuilder and Power Lifter, Hugh Ross and Sylvan Gardener will be in attendance.
Recently two business entities, Giftland Office Max and Farfan and Mendes Limited offered tangible support to the GABBFF to assist in the successful staging of the event.
Both entities have supported sports in the distant and recent past and continue to show their concern for local sporting events and athletes.
Floor Manager, Giftland Office Max Affia McKenzie and Senior Supervisor, Farfan and Mendes Ltd Kimi Melville handed over their sponsorship to GABBFF president Frank Tucker.
