Ettenuj World of Fashion and Interior Designing Enterprise will be holding a Beauty and Trade Show at the Theatre Guild, Kingston tomorrow commencing from 13:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
On display will be a wide variety of products from Avon, Mary Kay, Anew, Aveeno and also various aspects of fashion. In the evening at20:00 hrs there would be an awards ceremony and artistic presentation featuring Guyana’s top musicians and entertainers, the likes of Bonny Alves, Sharmain Blackman, Henry Rodney and some of the most selected ballet dancers and poets.
The awards ceremony is to honour outstanding mothers from various communities in Guyana, and there will also be prizes for the oldest and youngest mothers.
Tickets for the Beauty and Trade Show will cost $200, while those for the awards ceremony and for artistic presentation are set at $1500 each.
It’s a two in one event, which seeks to give tribute to all the mothers of our society. Exhibits will include a cake sale, a photo studio, designer fabric, soft furnishing, hand painting and more.The main reason for hosting the event is to honour and surprise mothers from five selected communities with gifts.
There will also be a focus on four care giving homes, gifts for the oldest, youngest, well dressed, less fortunate and mother with the most children.
Prizes include one glass of wine and a rose, hampers and a gift certificate.
