Police seek two for taxi driver’s murder

Police have issued wanted bulletins for Eon Daniels, 23, and Cladwin Sherwin Mc Donald, 21, in connection with the murder of taxi driver Rolston Bernard Henry, whose mutilated body was found at Onion Field, LBI, East Coast Demerara last Sunday.
A release gave Daniels’s last address as Better Hope, East Coast Demerara. He is five feet six inches tall, of medium build and dark in complexion.
Mc Donald last resided at Goedverwagting Squatting Area, East Coast Demerara, is six feet tall, slim and brown in complexion.
The release urged persons with information that could lead to the arrest of Daniels and Mc Donald to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2700, 226-2917, 225-8196, 225-2227, 911, 229-2700-3, or the nearest police station.
It said all information will be treated with strict confidence.
Henry’s body, with the head almost severed, was recovered on Sunday afternoon behind a clump of bushes at Onion Field, a few hours after the car he was driving was found in a trench. The corpse also bore a stab wound to the ribs and there were burn marks on the chest and penis.
A suspect has already been detained.
