Dear Editor,
I have to applaud the person/s whose design concept is the one now outlined at the vendors Arcade on Water Street.
So far, by only passing, I observed a much uniformed section and yes, it is now appealing to make frequent visits to support those businesses.
In reference to T. Persaud’s report which appeared in the Guyana Chronicle dated 4.2.2009 and titled “Kitty Market, a threat to life and limb.”
Market Council, in this particular case, it makes no sense in trying to restore the market in question to its former glory.
Simply use the same approach used for the Arcade and vendors have to be open to innovative changes and move away from the outdated design concepts.
