Who can disagree that “American Idol” is the broadcast entertainment television show that is creating lots of buzz?
Even GT&T has now embarked on a local version with its Cellink Jingle and Song Competition 2009 during May-July.
An interesting excerpt from the release was to learn that a vehicle might very well be up for grabs among other prizes and this event should definitely see a large number of potential hopefuls competing to a very high standard.
The Marketing Staffers overlooking the planning must definitely be having challenges and I am certain that they have the ability to pulling through.
I don’t know what name or term in used in Guyana, but the appointed/assigned “Producer” of such events has one of the most difficult tasks, because the success lies a lot on that person’s shoulders. Keep the focus in tact.
A spur of the moment suggestion is that the host/s should be more or less a peoples’ person, be witty/humourous and have a fairly good command of the English language.
Also, get kick started with a simple promo ad, saying something to the effect….
“Coming Soon” bah bah bah bah bah bah.
Should there be amongst the participants someone with similar singing abilities like “Susan Boyle,” the present singing sensation from Scotland, (UK) participating in “Britain’s Got Talent” and who has since been creating international headlines via all medium waves globally, that individual will definitely be going places and heard internationally.
