Guyana soundly beaten
Jamaica crushed St Lucia 64-15 for their second consecutive win in the Caribbean Netball Association Jean Pierre Youth Under-16 Netball Championship at the Leila Robinson Courts Saturday night, while Guyana received their second loss.
The Guyanese were soundly beaten by St Lucia 51-9 in the early session before going onto losing to the hosts by a large margin.

In the second quarter, the St Lucians fared no better adding two more goals while the hosts more their doubled theirs for a 34-6 half-time lead. Jamaica did not let up in the third quarter which ended 51-10 despite the visitors making changes to their personnel in shooting area.
Taylor’s support, goal attack Vanessa Jones, had three from three. For St Lucia, Jamie Ambrose had six from nine, Chenna Prospere four from six, Joann Anderson three from seven and Ianna Hippolyte two from four.
Jamaica beat Dominica in their first match 65-7 on Friday. Jamaica were to play Cayman Islands last evening, while Guyana were to take on Trinidad & Tobago and Dominica meeting St Lucia.
In the morning session Saturday, Barbados beat Dominica 40-7, Trinidad & Tobago gave a 38-7 lesson to Cayman Islands, and St Lucia drubbed Guyana 51-9.
In other results last night, Barbados punished Cayman Islands 44-3, and Trinidad & Tobago held on to beat Dominica 30-20.
