Bier & Prakash Singh Memorial, Vishnu Softball matches set for Sunday

Tomorrow at the Crabwood Creek Cricket Ground, three softball cricket matches, regardless of the weather, will played starting at 10:00am.
The Corriverton Queens will take on the Crabwood Creek Heroines for the Prakash Singh Memorial Trophy in the first match at 10:00 and cricket fans will witness for the first time female cricket being played at this venue.

Immediately after the female match the Floodlight A&B teams from Demerara will take on a Vishnu Super Sore XI and then Scottsburg United for the Bier Singh Memorial Trophy.
Trophies for the Vishnu Super Store matches are being sponsored by Vishnu Hardyal of Springlands and the Bier Singh and Prakash Singh Memorial Trophies are being sponsored by Ganesh Singh and Brothers, Sawmiller and loggers of Crabwood Creek and brothers of the deceased.
Admission is $100 and children under 12 will be let in free. Eatables liquid refreshments and musical entertainment will add to the atmosphere.
These games are being held as a fundraiser for the Crabwood Creek Sports Council for the upgrading of the ground.

The teams will come from: Scottsburg United – James Hart (captain), Sherwin Murray, Nesho Nazrudeen, Kenny Rogers, Alex Amsterdam, Michael Kendall, Anthony Seeraj, Fabian Seeraj, Hemchand Dan, Gilbert Dan, John James, Ravin Seepersaud, Nesho Shamshudeen, Ivor Burr.

Vishnu Super Store Squad: Vishnu Hardyal (Captain), Harishchand Ketwaroo, Ganesh Singh, Dennis D’Andrade, Eric Dan, Derrick Dan, Imran Mohammed, Gibran Khan, Jaichand Hemchand, Rabindranauth Persaud, Kamal Gafoor, Winston Robert, Leslie Kishun, Jerry Lakeram, Mahendra Ramgasammy, Mohan Datt.
Floodlight A Squad: Mikes Singh (Captain), Ricky Deonarain, Sheik Mohammed, Rahaman Khan, Avinash Deokie, Rocky Deokie, Ravi Deokie, Nigel Dharamlall, Sham Nokta, Patrick Khan, Fidel Singh, Vicky Ramsaywack, Reza Joaquin, Mark Harold.

Floodlight B Squad: Reaz Hussain (Captain), Gopaul Boojraj, Jailall Deodass, Bedi Ramjewan, Kemal Seebaran, Vinu Sawh, Farouk Abas, Pradeep Abdul, Pitamber Maharaj, Rakesh Goverdhan, Ramesh Sunich, Steve Narine, Derick Ramoutar, Anil Manikchand.
Physiotherapist on duty will be Jesus Fernandez.
